What is the Minecraft Marketplace? expand_more

The Minecraft Marketplace is a way to find and purchase community-made content from within the game.
You can purchase content in the Marketplace using a currency called Minecoins (or Tokens, for PlayStation® users), which you can purchase in the game store.

How can I access to the Minecraft Marketplace? expand_more

The Minecraft Marketplace can be accessed through a Bedrock version of the game, directly by clicking the "Marketplace" button on the title screen.
A browser version of the Marketplace is also accessible here.

What is a Bedrock version of Minecraft? expand_more

The Bedrock edition refers to the multi-platform versions of the game. Bedrock versions are available on those devices:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 10 Phone
  • iOS (iPhone and iPad)
  • Android
  • Amazon Kindle Fire
  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Windows Mixed Reality
  • Xbox One
  • Nintendo Switch
  • PlayStation 4

Pixelusion is a publishing company that aims to help Minecraft content creators releasing content easily on the Minecraft Marketplace.

What are Minecoins? expand_more

Minecoins are the virtual currency available for purchase in the game, and used to make purchases in the Minecraft Marketplace.
Minecoins are used on most Bedrock versions of the game while Tokens are the Minecoin equivalent on PlayStation consoles.

Creators FAQ

Who can apply to work with Pixelusion and how? expand_more

Any creator being at least 16 years of age with sufficient qualifications and written English skills can apply here. More detailed requirements are specified on the application page.

Is it also possible to produce content for the Java edition? expand_more

Pixelusion is exclusively publishing Minecraft Marketplace content, which can only be produced for the Bedrock edition because of the absence of Marketplace on the Java edition. However, most of the creators are building worlds on the Java edition and then converting those to the Bedrock edition using converting tools.

How can Pixelusion help me to be successful? expand_more

Access to the Marketplace is selective and the process may take up to more than 6 months currently. It also requires you to have a huge portfolio in addition to enough resources and knowledge.
Pixelusion can help you manage all of this and handle the more tedious tasks for you, so you can focus on creating content. The most adventurous can also learn how to publish content themselves to hopefully get a partnership.

How is Pixelusion giving me my earnings? expand_more

All the earnings are automatically calculated by business intelligence and directly handed over to creators. We currently support international Wire Transfer and PayPal.

How long is it taking for a content to be published? expand_more

This is very variable depending on the period and the type of content. For skin packs, due to the hard limit of 3 releases a week, the queue might be longer. On average, once a content is ready for release, it can get from one to two months for it to get released.

How much money can I earn working on the Marketplace? expand_more

The income from the Marketplace varies according to the success of your publications. An average creator can work on the Marketplace for a living quite easily while the most successful creators can earn 5 figures each month.

Players FAQ

I have purchased one of your contents, but items and features from the current update are missing, how can I fix this? expand_more

Some older contents were made before the release of the current update, and have not been updated. Unfortunately not all contents will get updated to include newer versions features.

One of your contents I've purchased doesn't launch or doesn't work properly, what should I do? expand_more
